The primary purpose of the Design Review Committee (DRC) is to maintain property values by keeping the land and structures in accordance with the covenants, conditions, and restrictions established in Buckhead East’s governing documents. The covenants establish a design framework for each individual to use and attempt to balance latitude and flexibility with the value, consistency and integrity of the community. As a volunteer you would be involved in all aspects of the DRC guidelines and their implementation in the community.
Finance Committee
The finance committee works closely with our management company, board of directors, the developer and committee leaders. They help with budgeting and expenses throughout the year. Tasks include reviewing the financials quarterly or more often to determine if expenses and revenue are in line with the budget and question those items that are not. Reviews help to determine if contracts are being adhered to and billed properly. Help with major contracts to ensure they are quoted/re-bid either annually or as needed. Work with each committee on their budgets and funds throughout the year. Track and report current long-term maintenance and repair projects. Work with Board members and Management company on strategic planning.
Lake Lily Townhome Committee
The townhome area of Lake Lily Drive in Buckhead East offers a close-knit group of families within Buckhead East. The committee is a group of townhome owners that work together to address townhome owners issues and improve the areas of the townhomes.
Pool Committee
This committee is the life blood of our pool and playground area. They are always cleaning up, doing minor repairs and maintenance to make the space our community enjoys better. They are always watching weather for severe storms so umbrellas and pool furniture can be put away before they are damaged.
Other responsibilities include taking out trash every week. Checking the pool area several times a week for cleanliness, putting chairs and tables back where they belong, putting down umbrellas and many other tasks. Checking and emptying ash cans on BBQ grills and preparing pavilions for rented party times. There is always a need for more volunteers for this committee.
Social Committee
Our Social Committee organizes many events throughout the year for all of our residents to enjoy.
These events include - but is not limited to:
· Spring and Fall Community-Wide yard sales
· Easter Egg Hunt for all ages
· BBQs and Partys
· Movies at the pool
· Food Trucks
· Parades and so much more!

The Little Library is installed near the small pavilion next to the playground.
We look forward to seeing all of our residents as we strive to produce a sense of community through our events.
Volunteers are always needed. Even if you can't volunteer all of the time, all events need extra volunteers to help out.
